Stephen B. Cohen attended Harvard College (A.B.), Vanderbilt (J.D.), and Cambridge University (Downing College) in England (L.L.M. in International Law and Diploma in International Law). Mr. Cohen is a Member of the Indiana Bar and Illinois Bar manages and supervises the activities in his Indiana office, has an AV rating from Martindale-Hubble in both Indiana and Illinois, Mr. Cohen has a lifetime connection with the State of Indiana and for many years practiced with his Father, Cecil B. Cohen, (1900-1985). He Continues the excellence and tradition of Cohen family attorneys in Lake County, Indiana.

US Speedskating has indicated ins appreciation for Mr. Cohen's dedication to the sport of Speedskating on Ice and is excited that Mr. Cohen is being recognized with the President's Award.

NOTE: Stephen B. Cohen was a member of the President's Advisory Board of the United States International Speedskating Association (USISA), is a past-President of the Northbrook (IL) Speedskating Club, and is a past-President of the Board of Directors of the USISA Charitable Fund. Mr. Cohen was also inducted into the Northbrook (IL) Park District Hall of Fame for his volunteer efforts in behalf of the Northbrook Speedskating Club, the Northbrook Bicycle Club and the Northbrook Cycyle Committee. Mr. Cohen's three children, Debra, Aaron and Sabrina all skated for the Northbrook Speedskating Club.
